This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 452.4570 feet [137.9089 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Church Stretton to Brecon levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on wall, N. side of road, opposite S. angle of house, S. end of Broome.

Could not find in vicinity of GR given, although a wall to S of souther-most house adjoining roadway looks old enough. (FB could possibly be low down and obscured by vegetaion).

Wall at implied location looks a bit new, older wall a short way to N, no FB found, could be buried in verge
