This fundamental bench mark was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 236.8790 feet [72.2007 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Longhorsley to Belford and Mordington to Belford levelling lines.
Third Geodetic Levelling, England & Wales (1950-68)
This fundamental bench mark was used during the Third geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 236.8790 feet [72.2007 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Belford to Longhorsley and Mordington to Belford levelling lines.
