Third Geodetic Levelling, Scotland (1956-68)
This fundamental bench mark was used during the Third geodetic levelling, Scotland, and was levelled with a height of 154.1071 feet [46.9718 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Bettyhill to Reay, Durness to Bettyhill and Loch Naver to Bettyhill levelling lines.
Visited on 15th September 2015 by Orlandos_Rat. Condition: Good.
Found amongst the bracken, which I had to trample to find.
Visited on 23rd August 2015 by Dugswell2. Grid reference: NC 7096 5744. Condition: Good.
Took 15 minutes to find hidden in the bracken below the heathery knoll.
