This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 329.2320 feet [100.3499 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Church Stretton to Brecon levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on S.W. face of farm building, W. side of road, N. end of Upcott.
