This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 417.9040 feet [127.3771 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Church Stretton to Brecon levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on S. face of Pen-y-maes Cottages, Dewsbury Gate.

Not on S face at G.R. (inspected with owner - in garden). Nos 1 & 2 are new. Dewsbury Gate is rendered front & back with cut BM (?on gate pillar, can't read my writing 18 months later). There was a No 3, since demolished.
