It was included on the Dorchester to Beer levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on N. face of S. battlement of bridge, near Grove Iron Works.

No sign of FB on bridge over River Simene to the W of the foundry (nor on a stray parapet on S side of road to E of the foundry).

The Iron Works are now TH Metalwork. There are parapets both west (SY 4536 9311) and east of the works, neither of which has a FB. At the GR there is just a fence. The FB is not on the OS database. I reckon it has gone.
