This fundamental bench mark was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 1179.6480 feet [359.5567 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Greetland to Broomhead Moor and Matlock to Broomhead Moor levelling lines.

Located at roadside in standard FBM "playpen" - height marker is missing - other than that apprears to be in good condition - nice views from moreland road.
