Second Geodetic Levelling, England & Wales (1912-21)
This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 161.2830 feet [49.1591 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the South Cave to Bulmer levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on S.E. angle of E. face of building, E. side of road, Sands Top.
Third Geodetic Levelling, England & Wales (1950-68)
This flush bracket was used during the Third geodetic levelling, England & Wales. It was included on the Bulmer to South Cave levelling line.

Has indeed been relocated, about 1ft, now on S face of wall dividing the gardens. Access via side gate leading into S-most cottage. Owners of the other cottage said they had the wall built, and asked builders to reinstate the FB, as close as poss to original level and position. Having reviewed the photos on OSBM it has evidently been that way since at least Jan 2005.
