Flush Bracket on N.E. buttress of Holme Head's Bridge [2GL] - estimated location; FB reported destroyed; bridge demolished (1946?); FB evidently replaced for 3GL by Bolt on replacement bridge.

This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 789.8910 feet [240.7588 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Ribblesdale to Kirkby Stephen levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on N.E. buttress of Holme Head's Bridge.
