Yes, odd place for a FB. About 1m above river level at time of visit. 'Yellow bricks' are local stone and looking better as they weather. See also BM1342.

Scaffolding gone. I didn't notice yellow bricks!

Bridge is being repaired; lots of scaffolding make fb easier to approach.
Spoke to farmer and we both agreed they've done a horrible job on repairing the bridge - layer of yellow bricks across top.

Thwaite Bridge. N side of rd, bridge serving Thwaite Bridge House, N bank of river, E face at base of arch. odd placement - to approach closely you need to cross bridge & scramble down nettly bank. Can see FB from S bank once you know it's there
