This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 1105.1410 feet [336.8470 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Ribblesdale to Kirkby Stephen levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on S.W. face of The Quarry.

This flush bracket was used during the Third geodetic levelling, England & Wales. It was included on the Kirkby Stephen to Ribblesdale levelling line.

FB still good, but about 15m. NW of the pivot (see http://www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm27649 ) and probably ~50cm lower above datum.

SW face of terrace, immediately R of porch. Visible from road, 2m back. Porch built since I last visited, I think - and pebbledash removed, presumably in the process - revealing FB.

FB in good shape, but couldn't find the nearby pivot. Owner confirmed he had removed the rendering and kindly moved a flower tub to one side to allow a photograph.

FB now revealed again! Rendering has been removed on this part of the building, but there is still tell-tale cement in bracket holes and on some of the digits.
