This fundamental bench mark was used during the Third geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 490.1580 feet [149.4002 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Caernarvon to Conwy, Caernarvon to Holyhead and Trawsfynydd to Caernarvon levelling lines.

Easy to find, just beyond the Farmhouse with lots of angry dogs, which were all chained up! Thankfully! The farmer was very friendly and most helpful.
