Access from up platform not possible because the northern buttress is surrounded by brambles and roses, not to mention it is well beyond the public access at platform end. However the bracket can be seen by peering down from top of the northern set of steps - about 0.5m above track level.

I had hopes of finding this - but was disappointed. It is railside, and the most likely location is on the pier of the footbridge just beyond the end of the platform, currently in the middle of thick brambles. It was last levelled in 1989, seemingly as part of a set round Poole Habour, including a number of new bolts (I have not checked if any can be found).

Footbridge still extant, but could not see PB. Base of pier surrounded by vegetation; PB could well be lurking there.
