It was included on the Fareham to Arundel levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on gate pier, S. side of road, at back entrance to house, Fontwell.

Not on obvious modern brick gate posts W of roundabout. Not found under ivy on stone gate posts nearer to roundabout. Wrought iron gates locked and no hand access to feel inside. No access to house seen inside from roads E or W. Perhaps Racecourse Offices and accessable on race days? Or take mirror on a bent stick!
