This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 308.6590 feet [94.0793 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Great Linford to Hemel Hempstead levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on N. face of bridge at lock, W. side of canal.

Found scar on N face of pillar between arches, W side of canal, on brickwork. No sign of FB itself, would have logged as Destroyed but for Mystic's comment.
