This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 381.2410 feet [116.2023 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Great Linford to Hemel Hempstead levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on S.W. face of building, Dudswell, N.E. side of road.

My GPSr was pointing to the space between the lock house and the houses further southeast. The lock house is nearer and is pebbledashed. I couldn't see the FB on the lock house, nor on the other houses, which look too new. Not listed on OS benchmarks database.
