Second Geodetic Levelling, England & Wales (1912-21)
This projecting bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 238.1790 feet [72.5970 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Great Linford to Hemel Hempstead levelling line. The surveyor's description was Bracket on S. face of bridge, junction of path to Willen.

Logged on 26th January 2008 by dal. Condition: Destroyed.
No sign - and with the vegetaton died back, there was a clear view of the W end.

Logged on 9th September 2007 by lackofluke. Condition: Probably destroyed.
It's not on the E side of the bridge, since that has been rebuilt and is clear of vegetation. The W side of the bridge looks original but is covered with vegetation.
