This projecting bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 395.4890 feet [120.5450 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Great Linford to Hemel Hempstead levelling line. The surveyor's description was Bracket on N. face of bridge, junction of road to Wigginton.
