This fundamental bench mark was used during the Third geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 422.9069 feet [128.9020 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Conwy to Dyserth, Dyserth to Wrexham and Liverpool to Dyserth levelling lines.
