Second Geodetic Levelling, Scotland (1936-52)
This fundamental bench mark was used during the Second geodetic levelling, Scotland, and was levelled with a height of 700.1841 feet [213.4161 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Glen Almond to Auchterarder and Pitlochry to Glen Almond levelling lines.

Hard to spot in the long grass. The stile (and toilet block)in the sketch have gone. A group of women and children having a picnic in the layby were trying very hard not to stare at the strange man. Why no Aux?
