This fundamental bench mark was used during the Third geodetic levelling, Scotland, and was levelled with a height of 122.8741 feet [37.4520 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum).
Visited on 13th September 2015 by Orlandos_Rat. Condition: Good.
Found whilst on a tour of Scotland.
Visited on 28th July 2005 by runnerbean. Grid reference: NH 420 166. Condition: Good.
I would have had trouble finding this one without the OS sketch. It is well hidden in long grass only a few yards from the end of the old bridge. Very scenic bridge and waterfalls here.
