Third Geodetic Levelling, England & Wales (1950-68)
This flush bracket was used during the Third geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 96.4123 feet [29.3865 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Alfriston to Arundel levelling line. The surveyor's description was N face, 2' from NE angle of Electric Station Building, S side of Rodean Road, Kemptown.
