Found on the second attempt, the first one being after sundown and the gates were looked. I assume that was the reason and not because of the football match being played nearby.

An easy find in Stanley Park then off to view the two football grounds.

Not mentioned by previous logs is the fact that the height plate is missing, judging by the condition for a good many years. The opposite side to the BM plate has the standard modern OS plaque warning against damaging the mark.
