Second Geodetic Levelling, England & Wales (1912-21)
This fundamental bench mark was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 409.6070 feet [124.8482 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Bulmer to Northallerton and Northallerton to Forcett levelling lines.
Third Geodetic Levelling, England & Wales (1950-68)
This fundamental bench mark was used during the Third geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 409.6070 feet [124.8482 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Forcett to Northallerton, Northallerton to Bulmer and Northallerton to Mickleby levelling lines.

Finally found it, difficult to find in the vegetation as this FBM pillar was modified to remove anything projecting above ground level in around 1990. It is on the opposite side of the road to the 1:6 sign at the bottom of the bank. Good condition, but the surface of the bolt has been slightly chipped, probably by passing grass cutting machinery given its location.
