Second Geodetic Levelling, Scotland (1936-52)
This fundamental bench mark was used during the Second geodetic levelling, Scotland, and was levelled with a height of 54.1331 feet [16.4998 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Milngavie to Necropolis levelling line.
Third Geodetic Levelling, Scotland (1956-68)
This fundamental bench mark was used during the Third geodetic levelling, Scotland, and was levelled with a height of 54.1331 feet [16.4998 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Milngavie to Bowling (via Govan) levelling line.
Visited on 10th May 2015 by jonglew. Grid reference: NS 53892 67293. Condition: Good.
Found easy enough by accessing Victoria Park from main entrance and letting GPS take me to it. It looks a little tired and the height tag is missing otherwise good. Photos at:

Bit tricky to find. Easiest way is probably via the fenced off rock garden, which can only be accessed from the south. From the highest point of the path round this, up into the undergrowth, and it's just a few yards along to the right.
