Third Geodetic Levelling, England & Wales (1950-68)
This fundamental bench mark was used during the Third geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 313.6331 feet [95.5954 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Lancaster to Ulverston and Ulverston to Wasdale levelling lines.
