Second Geodetic Levelling, England & Wales (1912-21)
This fundamental bench mark was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 845.6770 feet [257.7623 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Forcett to Wolsingham, Wolsingham to Hexham and Wolsingham to Kirkby Stephen levelling lines.
Third Geodetic Levelling, England & Wales (1950-68)
This fundamental bench mark was used during the Third geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 845.6770 feet [257.7623 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Hexham to Wolsingham and Wolsingham to Forcett levelling lines.
