This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, Scotland, and was levelled with a height of 699.6330 feet [213.2481 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Thankerton to Linlithgow levelling line. The surveyor's description was W face, SW angle of house, E side of road, at cross roads.

Visited on 11th June 2014 by clochandighter. Condition: Good.
Old Toll House. Not been occupied since ~1950s. Building surrounded in scaffolding with stonework being restored and repointed. A passing local gent informed that the farmer is converting the shell back to a residential property. The building is to be extended, probably to the north and east so FB should be safe.
