With reference to old maps the FB would have been at about SU 2835 9484 on the north end of the only building standing on the SW corner of the junction. The roads are on the same alignment today although the junction was wider with a guidepost in its centre. MasterMap shows no BM here. The current buildings #38-#42 occupy the footprint of the older building. #36 appears to be built on the Northern end of this block. If #38 is old then I might speculate that the FB was on its Northern face now covered by #36. Note that the street is and was called Coxwell Road.

There isn't any precise description of the site of this FB. The GR is a little way off the junction, so maybe it is inaccurate or the road has been realigned. As reported by others the area is now occupied by modern housing and garages. The only oldish house is on SW corner of the junction, and its north face is rendered. It may be significant that the FB is not mentioned on the OS database, but there is a new benchmark described as:
SU28329487: CUT MARK: NBM NO4 HIGHWORTH RD 3.3M SW ANG
which I didn't have time to look for.

Can't see anywhere for it to hide.
Logged on 18th February 2006 by lackofluke. Condition: Probably destroyed.
No sign of the FB, only modernish houses.
