This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, Scotland, and was levelled with a height of 1027.9090 feet [313.3067 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Dalwhinnie to Tummel Bridge levelling line. The surveyor's description was S face of Edendon Bridge, 9' E from W end of bridge, N side of road.

Logged on 10th May 2006 by clochandighter. Condition: Destroyed.
Bridge carrying old A9 over Edendon Water lost to road building. GPS led me into a concrete tunnel carrying the present A9 over the Edendon Water. The old A9 ends abruptly just short of here.
