This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, Scotland, and was levelled with a height of 883.9270 feet [269.4209 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Spean Bridge to Dalwhinnie levelling line. The surveyor's description was NW face, SE parapet of bridge, in line with fence on S side of river.
