Second Geodetic Levelling, Scotland (1936-52)
This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, Scotland, and was levelled with a height of 820.6260 feet [250.1268 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Spean Bridge to Dalwhinnie levelling line. The surveyor's description was On railway bridge, 4' from NW end, NE side of road.

Third Geodetic Levelling, Scotland (1956-68)
This flush bracket was used during the Third geodetic levelling, Scotland. It was included on the Dalwhinnie to Daviot levelling line. The surveyor's description was 4' from N end of NE parapet of bridge, NE side of road.

Logged Visits
Logged on 9th August 2006 by clochandighter. Condition: Destroyed.
Weak bridge with an apparent history of structural problems. Single flow traffic on bridge controlled by lights at each end. SW parapet rebuilt with red brick. NE parapet where FB should be is rebuilt using original stonework. Checked all sides of bridge to see if FB had been reinstated elsewhere but no joy. G1070 R.I.P. Site visited 9/08/2006, GRP.
