S face, 16ft. W from SE angle of Creeside Farm House (i.e. on barn) - note that BM 156.29m shown on 1:10 000 map at NX 2998 8082 is evidently a Rivet, not the Flush Bracket.

This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, Scotland, and was levelled with a height of 512.3930 feet [156.1774 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Creetown to Corwar levelling line. The surveyor's description was S face, 16ft. W from SE angle of Creeside Farm House.
