Long walk, or ferry from Keyhaven, every 20 mins, £4.20 plus parking. The boatman I spoke to at Keyhaven, seemed to recall there used to be a pump house there until c. 1980s, and is some kind of trig and/or BM on a post in about that location. I didn't go over, but you never know.
