This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 243.2650 feet [74.1472 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Buntingford to Clare levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on culvert, N. side of road at road to Brick House.

Logged Visits
Visited on 9th March 2008 by RHW. Grid reference: TL 5454 3387. Condition: Probably destroyed.
Small dilapidated headwall NE side of entrance, built of concrete blocks, probably rebuilt since 2GL, no FB. Also checked bridge just to SW, in dip: couldn't find on front or back face; some ivy on abutments.
