Third Geodetic Levelling, England & Wales (1950-68)
This flush bracket was used during the Third geodetic levelling, England & Wales. It was included on the Boston to Immingham levelling line. The surveyor's description was SW face, 2' from S angle of cottage, NE side of road [destroyed].

No cottage - new (1970's ish) housing. Wonder why they didnt put it on the chapel.

Chapel building: S angle and 3ft of SW face appear original but no sign of FB. Not on LandLine.

Logged on 30th November 2007 by Brisey. Condition: Probably destroyed.
There are two porches added to the front of the chapel, and SK2 description suggests the FB may be lost to (or inside?) the right-hand porch. There is a cottage (3GL description) on the left (NW side) of the chapel but no FB seen on this either, or the FB could be lost to (or inside) the left-hand porch. The two descriptions do not seem to be consistent.
