This flush bracket was used during the Third geodetic levelling, England & Wales. It was included on the Boston to Immingham levelling line. The surveyor's description was SW angle of Girl's School, E side of road [destroyed].

The plot that the school stood on is mostly grass and car park for the West Marsh Community Centre, a much smaller and newer building. My GPS indicated that the FB was near the SW corner of what is now the car park, close to its entrance.
