This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 734.6650 feet [223.9259 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Skipton to Ribblesdale levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on N.W. angle of building, Sherwood House.

Had to come and have a look after visiting the replacement (G2086) but could find nothing of either the bracket or where it had been located.

Visited on 9th February 2009 by bonatti. Condition: Probably destroyed.
Spoke to farmer, he reckoned there were buildings that had been destroyed or removed - he did not know of another FB bearing the number 1484
