This bench mark was used during the Third geodetic levelling, England & Wales. It was included on the Bridford to Dulverton levelling line. The surveyor's description was OSBM Bolt on parapet of bridge, NW side of road, 5' SW of stream.

Logged Visits
Logged on 17th June 2008 by dal. Condition: Probably destroyed.
Stoke Woods. The parapet is now more of a long concrete barrier along the side of the road. Not eaasy to date, but I could find no Bolt, and nowhere really for it to hide.
