Having previously visited the retail village referred by Rod (I bought a map measurer), I noted the position of the lost bridge as I drove away.

Visited on 15th August 2004 by RodS. Grid reference: SK 2591 6589. Condition: Destroyed.
Bridge demolished, probably in late 1960s. Railway line under this bridge ran to the original Rowsley Station of 1849 (designed by Joseph Paxton), latterly a goods station and more recently surrounded by a contractor's yard. The station building is now incorporated within the Peak Village shopping complex.
