This flush bracket was used during the Third geodetic levelling, England & Wales. It was included on the Carmarthen to Haverfordwest and Haverfordwest to Carmarthen levelling lines. The surveyor's description was W angle of Carmarthen Farmer's Coop Society Building, E side of John Street.

A new building occupies this site, housing a Jobcentre and built to look reminiscent of a chapel (!). No BM marked on map either, so it's deceased.
