This flush bracket was used during the Third geodetic levelling, England & Wales. It was included on the Lampeter to Llandovery levelling line. The surveyor's description was SE face of store building, SW side of Station Road, Llandovery.

Escorted around to where gps pointed but no sign of fb.

Station Road seems to have been renamed (New Road??). Grid ref points to middle of Llandovery College buildings. Not marked on map. 4/11/07 - I think the grid ref is wrong - OS db lists it at SN 7638 3448, SW side of Queensway This is an auction house building which seems very plausible. Couldn't see the FB, but it was dark. Needs another look, but it seems it's not on college buildings
