This flush bracket was used during the Third geodetic levelling, England & Wales. It was included on the Hemel Hempstead to Wallingford levelling line. The surveyor's description was NW face, N angle of house 'Waylands'.

Logged on 8th July 2006 by dal. Condition: Probably destroyed.
'Waylands' appears to have been replaced by 2 modern houses (one named 'The Waylands'). I couldn't see any sign that the FB had survived.
