This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 365.9310 feet [111.5358 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Melbourne to Nuneaton levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on W. face of Hill House.

Visited on 26th July 2008 by RodS. Grid reference: SP 3425 9360. Condition: Probably destroyed.
Had a good look through the locked gate, but could not seen any sign of the FB. Subequent comparision of maps of various dates suggests that the building which carried the FB no longer exists. Additional info added 7/10/2008 - the former farm premises were used by the quarry company for many years, before the recent reversion to residential use.

Visited on 11th November 2007 by Calico. Condition: Unknown.
Gate locked and place seemed deserted. Sneaked in from W boundary and looked down on house from bank above. Could not see fb but it could be behind rendering or veg. Pity I bottled out of a closer look!

Mid Sat pm, gate still locked, youngish chap working in garden, knew nothing of FB, didn't seem keen to let me in to check.
