This flush bracket was used during the Third geodetic levelling, England & Wales. It was included on the Patrington to Flamborough levelling line. The surveyor's description was N angle of lodge to Rolston Hall.

I noted the wooden cladding from outside the gate so did not investigate further.

The owner was moving paving slabs and apparently glad of a rest... He had no knowledge of a FB and there is no sign of one, although if it was on NE angle it could be still there, unreachable. Wooden cladding was added 1950s, he said. House was originally half the size and single storey, extended out westwards, away from road.
