This flush bracket was used during the Third geodetic levelling, England & Wales. It was included on the Penhow to Cowbridge levelling line. The surveyor's description was N angle of lodge, SE side of road.

Logged Visits
Logged on 20th January 2008 by superswifteagle. Condition: Probably destroyed.
Lodge is actually two small buildings either side of the gate to Tredegar House. No sign of FB. Some stonework may have been replaced. Couldn't check round the back because gates locked - can access through main park, so worth a check. [Visited with R.T. Mole]
