This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 248.3430 feet [75.6949 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Hawick to Kelso levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on N. face of bridge over Honey Burn.

South parapet lost to road widening, nothing on away side of north parapet. Apparently destroyed before 3GL.
