This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 79.0750 feet [24.1021 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Hibaldstow to Matlock levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on N.W. corner of house, N.W. side of road, N.E. from Brick Yard.

Rose Cottage, rendered, may be worth proper search. Building to S is newer bungalow.
