This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 64.6300 feet [19.6992 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Hibaldstow to Matlock levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on W. face of house at junction of roads, S.W. end of The Park, Northrorpe.

viewed through hedge. A white vertical stripe exists on the FB, at time thought it was a paint splash. on looking at previous logs it is apparent that an extension was built a this location, with white strip being silcone sealant. This extension is no longer present so all FB is now visible

Visited on 3rd June 2010 by Brisey. Condition: Damaged.
Not visible through the hedge, but the lady of the house was happy to show me but also apologetic about what had happened to it - previous owners blamed. Only S, arrow, M and the digits 617 are exposed. See for photo.
