Flush Bracket on W. face of cottages, near entrance to Cliff Hill, Cross o' Cliff Hill [2GL]; No 3 London Road, W face, SW angle - LandLine: 68.22m BMs on both NW angle [= cut BM] and SW angle [= FB] of No 3, both on W face.

This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 223.8550 feet [68.2310 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Navenby to Hibaldstow levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on W. face of cottages, near entrance to Cliff Hill, Cross o' Cliff Hill.
Third Geodetic Levelling, England & Wales (1950-68)
This flush bracket was used during the Third geodetic levelling, England & Wales. It was included on the Hibaldstow to Navenby levelling line.

Logged on 19th January 2008 by RHW. Grid reference: SK 9773 6838. Condition: Probably destroyed.
Back for anotherlokk. LandLine shows 2 BMs on W face of No 3: NW angle and SW angle. Former has perhaps been partly rebuilt when gate installed; latter looks original but brickwork cracked and flaky. Neither BM spotted: no FB. Guess it's gone, if mapped position is/was correct.

Not visible from road: no sign of FB on SW angle. May be on NW angle hidden by post of gateway into back garden, although there's very little room if it's on W face. W face of building appears original.
